Miss TV Scotland 2004
Miss TV Scotland 2004 took place in Dunfermline at the King Malcolm Hotel over two nights. Friday night was the informal Buffet, Fashion Show and the Icebreakers Disco. A chance to meet old friends and to make new friends. And what a wonderful night it was. It was also wonderful to catch up with the Wonderful Miss Jodie Lynn from The Boudoir, who came along with the "boudettes" in tow. I love being a boudette. And as you will see, I feature a lot in the photographs of the weekend.
Saturday night and it's the big night for many girls. The Miss TV Scotland and the Miss Hide and Sleek competitions. According to Lorains at Hide and Sleek iut has been the best year yet. The competition was fierce and the standard was very high. And to say the nerves were runnning high too wqs a bit of an understatement. The night started with pre dinner drinks and then the formal meal.
The competition was fierce as the standards were so high. I had decided to enter some months previously to going. My friends and I had decided that we wouldlike to bring the title back to Scotland. The Wonderful Sarah Gray from London was last years winner. There were two sections, day wear and evening wear. I chose a lovely pin stripe suit from Planet for my day wear and thge lovely "Anais" dress in cornflower blue from Monsoon.
Miss TV Scotland and Miss Hide and Sleek; Definetly the highlight of the Saturday night! There was lots more to come and as I discovered, I was more shocked at my name getting called out than I thought I was. I came in 3rd. To say I was floating was an understatement. Alex, very well deserved, got the title of Miss TV Scotland 2004. Britney from London came in 2nd place.
So then; A night to remember! After the competition, we danced and partied into the Wee Small Hours. It was a celebration for all thse that entered, not forgetting Juliette form Switzerland; Miss Hide and Sleek 2004.
